I love Music

I love music.  I live inside my music quite often.  The world is a harsh place and I find music to be a very therapeutic hideaway.  I have a long list of favorite songs that all relate to some time and place in my life.  I can put on my headphones and completely leave this world temporarily and just bask in the world of music.

I believe God made music as a vehicle for expressing our love and worship of Him.  But music is also a very powerful way to express feelings.  It can be very healing. If you have seen my 5-star song list, many of those are the ones I’m talking about.

Lately, I have been pondering God, the next life and putting this life on Earth in a context of God’s plan for me. There is a song by Carrie Underwood that is the perfect environment for my thinking.  It is called “Temporary Home”.
