Non-Intelligent Evolutionary Process?

You know the old story. A person is walking through the forest and finds a wristwatch on the ground and concludes that an evolutionary process of millions of years produced the watch with no intelligent input. Or one could also conclude that some person lost their watch produced by an intelligent process of manufacturing.

Well, I’d like to know what process of non-intelligent evolution caused a bug to look exactly like the leaf of a tree.
