Here in My Life

I am alive today because of Jesus. I am saved today because of Jesus. I have hope today because of Jesus.

The first 24 years of my life, I lived without faith in God and without knowing Jesus. I managed to position myself for a perfect storm that almost took my life. I trusted in this world rather than my Creator and Saviour.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and His Son Jesus Christ saved my life before I ever believed in them, then saved my soul two years later. Everything I am today I have the Lord to thank.

When you listen to my musical journey here, you may notice a lot of the music is tragic and contemplative. I want you to know that I have learned that in this life, there will be tribulation. I have also learned that the world is a cruel, cold and empty place. But I have learned that God so loved me that He gave His only begotten, perfect and sinless Son for dirty ol’ me. My hope is in the Lord. My future is in the Lord. And the heartbreaks in these songs have been turned to beauty, as the scriptures say;

“… to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness…” (Isa 61:3(KJV)
